Information collected passively:

When registering on our site as a recruiter, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, company name, and other information relevant information for recruiter accounts. When using our site as a job seeker, you may be asked to information related to your name, e-mail address, phone number, location, cover letter, resume, and other information appropriate for job applications. When creating a job seeker account we may ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, location, resume, profile information, and job alert data. You may, visit our site anonymously, however in this case we may not be able to provide you certain services such as registration for a recruiter account, applying for jobs, adding your resume to our database, and creating email job alerts.
Clear Gifs Information:
When you use the Service, we may employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your TalentDesk account is collected using these clear gifs. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make TalentDesk better for our users.

To provide the Service:
Any personal information or user content that you voluntarily disclose while using the Service becomes available to the public via the Service, our business partners and other websites we own. User content includes, but is not limited to, jobs you post as a recruiter and resumes you upload as a job applicant or when creating a job seeker account. If you remove User Content, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users have copied or stored your user content, or on sites owned by our business partners.
To send periodic emails:
The email address you provide as part of your registration will be used to send you Service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. We may also use your email address to send you other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of the Service, special offers, and job alert emails. Opting out may prevent you from receiving email messages regarding updates, improvements, or offers. You may not opt out of Service-related e-mails. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To develop our business:
We may purchase assets in the future or sell our business through an asset sale or equity transaction. Such transactions typically include intangibles including all user records, information, and content.

When you purchase a recruiter subscription with your credit card, all supplied sensitive/credit information related to the transaction is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your credit cards information will not be stored on our servers.
We otherwise uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information and user content. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the TalentDesk website and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission of information, TalentDesk makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from TalentDesk, at all times.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
